DUNWOODY, Ga. — Kingswood Church has named the Rev. Dr. Dana Everhart as senior pastor.
Everhart replaces the Rev. Charles Broome, who has been on the church since 2015. Through the church’s annual convention, Bishop Robin Dease, who leads the North Georgia Convention of the United Methodist Church, introduced the pastoral change.
Everhart’s expertise contains working as a missional specialist for 88 congregations within the Convention. He has additionally held denominational roles like Director of the Middle for Clergy Excellence and superintendent for the Atlanta Emory District. Moreover, he has been appointed to Atlanta-area church buildings, together with St. Mark United Methodist Church in Midtown and McDonough First United Methodist Church.
